Mentees from Arise mentoring got to visit Bradford University and had students from refugee backgrounds speak to them and give them inspiration to study.
One teacher told Arise Mentoring that, “I want to thank you so much for the trip. All the students really enjoyed it and got some really great advice from the student asylum seekers who were there. One of our students said she was moved to come back to school because of the inspiration from talking to one of those students”.
Arise Mentoring works to inspire and motivate mentees from all backgrounds and hearing from students at the university helped our mentees to envision a brighter future and inspire them back into education.
