Arise Refugees is a personal development programme designed for refugees & asylum-seeking young people. The programme has been designed to aid children in devloping their growth within society and enabling them with the support and guidance they need to succeed in later life.
Most of the mentees have taken treacherous journeys to get to the UK and have gone through traumatic experience. Therefore, we offer school-based mentoring were we reach out to schools and offer them support with the development and settlement for their refugees students. Sessions can take place on school premises during or immediately after school, or it can take place outside school premises. The mentoring programme consists of 6 sessions that can be conducted over the course of 12 weeks.
